Questions we hear from airports.
Can cleaning robots run while the terminal is open?
Yes. The R5 detects people, trolleys and luggage with a 3D LiDAR, depth cameras, sonar and time-of-flight sensors. It drives around them and returns to its route on its own. It runs at 70 dB, and the R3 Vac at 61.7 dB.
How do we give the airport authority proof of cleaning?
Every run is recorded automatically. LionsCloud saves what was cleaned, when it was cleaned and how much area was covered. You can download the report and hand it over unchanged.
How much terminal floor can one robot cover in a night?
The R5 covers up to 5,000 m² on a single charge. It cleans at an average of 1,300 m² per hour and runs for up to 4 hours 20 minutes. How many robots a terminal needs depends on its floor area and how many hours it has each night.
What about carpeted gate lounges and offices?
That is the R3 Vac's job. It is an autonomous vacuum and runs at 61.7 dB. It can work while a lounge is occupied, so carpet is vacuumed during the day.
Who supports the robots once they are deployed?
Support comes from LionsBot, or from the LionsBot dealer for your country. LionsBot Academy trains your supervisors to operate our robots and fix simple faults on site. A small problem does not have to wait for an engineer.
