A LionsBot R3 Vac autonomous vacuum cleaning the carpet between desks in an open-plan office

Office cleaning robots that work around the people using the floor.

The R3 Vac vacuums carpet at 61.7 dB while the desks are still occupied, and the R5 scrubs the lobby and corridors. Every run leaves a logged record.

What an office floor demands.

LionsBot supplies autonomous cleaning robots to offices and workplaces.

An office floor is really two floors: carpet at the desks and hard floor in the lobby, corridors and cafeteria. The R3 Vac takes the carpet and the R5 takes the hard floor, and every run is logged in LionsCloud.

Two floor types, one building.

Carpet at the desks, hard floor in the lobby, corridors and cafeteria.

The R3 Vac vacuums the carpet and the R5 scrubs the hard floor. One LionsCloud schedule runs both.

People are still at their desks.

Office cleaning happens around occupancy, not after everyone has gone.

The R3 Vac averages 61.7 dB, the quietest in the range. It is built to vacuum while a floor is still being used.

Out-of-hours access is expensive.

Night shifts mean security, lift access and somebody on site to supervise.

A saved route runs on its schedule without anyone booking it, so more of the floor gets done inside normal hours.

Proof for the landlord or the client.

Service charges and cleaning contracts both get questioned at review.

Every run writes its own coverage log in LionsCloud, so the report is a record rather than a recollection.

The desks move constantly.

Hot-desking, re-stacks and new pods mean last month’s route is this month’s obstacle course.

Our robots detect what has moved and drive around it. When a change is permanent, the cleaning zones are re-taught on site with MagicTag™.

Gaps between desks are narrow.

A full-size machine cannot reach the floor a person actually walks on.

The R3 Vac is 482 mm wide and cleans a 350 mm path, or 550 mm with the side brush fitted. It works the gaps a trolley cannot.

A worked example

A 5,000 m² office floor, cleaned around the people on it.

Offices & Workspaces · illustrative figures

The floor

Take a 5,000 m² floor that is roughly 3,500 m² of carpet at the desks and 1,500 m² of hard floor in the lobby, corridors and cafeteria. Two surfaces, one building, and people on it all day.

The approach

The R3 Vac works the carpet at its published 500 to 1,000 m² an hour. The R5 takes the hard floor at 1,300 m² an hour. Both run saved routes from one LionsCloud schedule.

What that means

The carpet is three and a half to seven robot hours, the hard floor a little over one. The floor gets covered without a booking, and every run leaves its own record.

In the office

The office keeps working while the floor gets cleaned.

No cordons and no empty floor. Our robots run their route around the people already working there, and every run writes its own record.

Which robot

Not every office floor needs the same machine.

Select all the floors you have

Most sites have more than one kind of floor, and the range is built to be mixed. All three are below.

LionsCloud runs across the full range

LionsCloud

The floor's own logbook.

LionsCloud is LionsBot's fleet software. Every run records what was cleaned, when, and how much area was covered. The next shift reads a record instead of asking.

  • Schedule carpet and hard-floor zones once and let the fleet repeat them
  • Automatic coverage logs for every completed run
  • One view across every site you run

Questions we hear from office and workplace managers.

Can the robots clean while people are working?

Yes. The R3 Vac averages 61.7 dB, the quietest machine in the range, and it is built to vacuum carpet while a floor is still occupied. It detects people, chairs and bags, drives around them and returns to its route on its own. The R5 averages 70 dB and suits lobbies and corridors outside core hours.

Our floor is part carpet and part hard floor. Which robot do we need?

Both, and they are built to work together. The R3 Vac is the autonomous vacuum for carpet, at 500 to 1,000 m² an hour. The R5 is the scrubber for hard floors, covering up to 5,000 m² on a charge at an average of 1,300 m² an hour. One LionsCloud schedule runs them as a fleet.

Do we need someone to supervise the robots?

No. Once the cleaning zones are set, the robots run their saved schedule without being asked. One member of staff can oversee several units, which is how a fleet adds cleaning hours to the week rather than replacing the person doing them.

How do we show the office was actually cleaned?

Every run is recorded automatically: what was cleaned, when and how much area was covered. The report downloads from LionsCloud, so a service charge review or a contract review reads a record rather than a recollection.

How small a gap can the R3 Vac get into?

The R3 Vac is 521 mm long, 482 mm wide and 655 mm tall. It cleans a 350 mm path, or 550 mm with the side brush fitted, so it works the gaps between desks and the aisles inside fixed seating.
