How are our LeoBot’s mapping capabilities different from other autonomous cleaning robots?

Simply put, our LeoMap is the fastest mapping robot on the market—while still being easy to use and being exceedingly accurate. Additionally, our LeoBots can also be used to generate worksite map.

Combined with a fully customisable cleaning plan from our Map Editor software, our adaptive AI mapping system and AI Active Track allows life-long, dynamic, real time cleaning plan generation to always ensure maximum cleaning coverage and the shortest possible cleaning duration.

How are the cleaning plans for our LeoBots created?

With LionsBot’s proprietary Map Editor software, the operator simply defines the desired cleaning area and the efficient, full customisable cleaning plan will be generated.

The operator can define following areas to achieve the ideal desired behaviour:

  • Cleaning Zones – The desired cleaning area
  • Restricted/Dangerous Zones – Areas where the LeoBot should avoid going into
  • No-Avoidance Zones – Crowded areas where the LeoBot temporarily disables dynamic avoidance
  • Slow Movement Zones – Slow navigation speeds in cleaning and movement.

After zonal annotation, the map will be uploaded to our LionsCloud. Since robot is fully cloud-connected, all updated maps will be automatically loaded on your LeoBots.

If my site location has changes in features, can the cleaning map be updated?

Absolutely. The cleaning plans can be updated via your dealer or a trained end-user by amending the map on the LionsCloud command centre. This updated map can then be downloaded via the cloud to all the robots at the worksite with the press of a button.

For layouts that undergo major changes, the LeoBots can be used to create a new map, with our dealers or support team able to guide you through updating cleaning paths and zones.

Can I edit or change my cleaning paths?

Yes. The cleaning plans can be easily updated by the dealer or a trained end-user by amending the map on the LionsCloud command centre. This updated map can then be downloaded via the cloud to all the robots at the worksite with the press of a button.

How does a user control and operate our LeoBots?

Leobots can be controlled via the intuitive, simple-to-use “LionsClean” app, connecting to the robot using 4G connectivity. In scenarios where there’s a lack of network connectivity, the app can connect to the robot directly in an offline mode—keeping you in control, regardless of network strength.

As for security, LionsBot cleaning robots can be only operated by authorised users by logging in using their unique user ID and password, with the user list easily manageable using the LionsCloud dashboard. Supervisors can also receive live notifications of the robots in operation.

Can LeoBots move in reverse?

Yes, the LeoBots traction system allows it to move forward, move in reverse, as well as brake suddenly, depending on the obstacle avoidance system and commands sent via the app.

The traction control can be manual when the remote control function is used, but in autonomous mode, the robot’s movement is automatically adjusted based on the cleaning zones and settings.

Can I operate LeoBots manually?

Yes. LeoBots can be controlled both manually and autonomously, with users being able to easily toggle between these two modes using the LionsClean app.

For manual remote control operation, the user needs to be present next to the robot and complete a 2FA (two factor authentication) to ensure safe operation. The safety sensor is always on during manual operation, so when the robot detects obstacles within near range, the robot will stop the movement to ensure safety—regardless of the manual command, prioritising safety for all.

In manual remote control mode, the user can also control the move speed, brush settings, water flow rate, suction power, and more, allowing for customised cleaning.

Do our LeoBots have scheduled cleaning?

Yes! One exciting feature of our robots is that it can be set on scheduled cleaning, where at an appointed time, the robot will move to the start point and begin the cleaning operation on its own. The user is updated on the robot’s operation at all times via the LionsClean app’s live notifications. This feature is perfect for overnight cleaning when no operator is present.

How can I understand the cleaning status of my LeoBot?

The cleaner can get real-time robot operation status via the LionsClean app and Dashboard, with full information given, including:

  • Cleaning time
  • Robot location
  • Battery information
  • Water usage
  • Upcoming cleaning zones
  • Upcoming schedules
  • Robot cleaning statistics
  • Robot cleaning reports
  • Maintenance reports

Our cleaning robots also use colours via the multiple LED parts on the robot’s exterior to help users identify their current status:

Red – When the bumper sensor has been triggered or when the emergency stop button has been pressed

Purple – When the robot does not know where it is or is outside a recognisable cleaning zone

Pink – When the robot does not have connectivity

Shoulder flashing – When the robot is in remote control mode
